Elite strength for serious runners

Strength coaching for runners chasing their best.

For runners who train with intent and race to win their own standard. Strength planned around your running week, tapered for race day, built to keep you on the start line.

  • Concurrent training — how elite runners lift
  • Race-date taper built in
  • Single-leg and posterior-chain focus

Elite runners all lift. Most runners lift wrong.

  • Heavy squats the day before your long run.
  • Bodybuilding volume that leaves your legs dead for intervals.
  • No plan for backing off before a race.

Tell us about your running

Your running week comes first. Strength fits around it.

Step 1 of 2 · Membership application

RunnerStrong is built for people who commit. Three questions — then your plan.

1. How many sessions a week will you commit to — every week?
2. The system runs on your data. Will you log every working set?
3. What best describes you?

RunnerStrong is for you if…

  • You run 2–6 times a week, with intent
  • You want strength without losing your legs
  • You’re chasing a time, not just a finish

Not for everyone. Not for you if…

  • You want a running plan — RunnerStrong plans strength around yours
  • You have a current injury — see a physio first

Two ways in. Choose your commitment.

Questions

Will strength training make me slower or heavier?

Low-rep, low-fatigue strength work is chosen specifically so it doesn’t. It’s placed away from your key runs and kept to one to three short sessions a week.

Does it write my running plan?

No — it plans strength around the running you already do. Tell it your runs and race and it fits strength in.

Will it prevent injuries?

No programme can promise that, and we don’t. Strength training is widely used by runners to build robustness; for pain or injury, see a physiotherapist.

Do I need an account before seeing my plan?

No. Answer the questions, see your actual generated plan, then choose Starter or membership to save it and start training.

How does it know what weight I should lift?

From your own logged sets, not from a model guessing. It uses double progression: you work up within your rep range at a fixed weight, and once every working set reaches the top of that range, the weight goes up by the right step for that lift. If a lift has not moved for three sessions it says so and suggests backing off.

What do I get for €9.99?

Starter is a one-off €9.99 with no subscription: your 4-week plan and nutrition targets, guided workout mode with last session’s numbers filled in, the rest timer, automatic personal records and your full logbook. Premium works out what to lift next and why, charts trends, adapts your plan from your log, and adds the AI coach.

Is this medical advice?

No. Plans and targets are general fitness guidance. If you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating, talk to a qualified professional before starting.
